today was the first day we've had free and entirely to ourselves in nearly a month. so we slept in & stayed in our pjs too long & read lots of stories on the couch & had a family movie night. we also went to the butterfly conservatory. it was enchanting. I very much wanted a cup of tea and a book and a few hours to spare... but even a short visit with an over-tired four-year-old was absolutely delightful.
