Ye Olde Shoppe

We have had an amber weather warning today, rain and high winds. The good thing about Chester is that on days such as this you can walk round the Rows, the galleried walkways, and keep dry while shopping. There was a lot going on in the Rows today, but nothing on the benches.

Lowes specialise in antique jewellery and silver. They have been in business since 1770 and in this particular site since 1804. On the other hand the milk shake shop below, on street level, has been there since about March!!

From midnight I will be marshalling at the St Rocco Hospice Ladies Starlight Walk. We hope that it will be dry but the forecast says not. Still nothing can dampen the enthusiasm and spirit of the ladies in support of this wonderful cause.
