Moss Force Waterfalls

Day 2 of our Lakes adventure.  This morning we headed over to Newlands Valley to Moss Force Waterfalls which were in good flow. My blip is one of the three waterfalls here. I thought it suited the mono treatment. 

After stopping for hot chocolate and cake, we moved on to Crummock Water where we were treated to reasonably calm waters and even to a few breaks in the clouds when the sun made an appearance.  

Headed over to LPH where we are booked in for the rest of the week on a B&B basis with the lovely Gail Gravett.  A quick shower and we headed out to the Middle Ruddings Country Inn in Braithwaite for dinner. We all opted for the steak and ale pie which was delicious, the big chunks of steak simply melted in your mouth, (glad everyone enjoyed it, as I had raved about it from a previous visit here)! All washed down with a great bottle of wine. Back to LPH where we relaxed with another bottle of wine.  A great start to our week.
