Suspicious package on Kimmeridge Beach
A tightly wrapped parcel on the rocks has generated local rumours that an Egyptian Mummy may have been washed up here.
Of course it is just possible that this is the Antony Gormley statue commissioned by the Landmark Trust, recently toppled in a storm - only a few months after its installation - and waiting to be re-erected. Let us hope that this will be achieved before it is removed next May. (I had hoped to be able to photograph it in rough weather with waves lashing it!)
