Tidying the garden !

It was another lovely sunny day and I am very happy and relaxed.  I was tidying the garden and enjoying the sunshine after swimming . We cut the grass, the bushes and some branches of the roses yesterday. They were too tall I am not sure if we should do it now but  they didn't look  healthy.  I think  they will be better after the new branch cut. I was taking some old leaves  and weeds.
I noticed this basket which is bringing me new  plants again. It was almost dead few weeks ago. It was a present from one friend in spring and the flowers have disappeared but it is nice to see they are alive.
I was watching the moon before the eclipse but it is not as good as yours.  Congratulations everybody who got up early to take such beautiful pictures. I would have liked to have got up and watched it and take better pictures but I forgot to set my alarm clock . At least I saw yours  and really I enjoyed it. Thanks everybody for sharing and sorry if I had not hearts for all of you, everyone deserves one.
