The Lowlands of Scotland from on high at dawn
Taking off from Edinburgh early this morning it was stange to look back along the Firth of Forth and not see the twin chimneys of Cockenzie anymore.
The highest manmade landmarks now in the Forth are the three towers of the Queensferry Crossing under construction.
I landed at Cardiff at 0930 and have spent the rest of the day at an excellent educational conference being held in the Celtic Manor Resort at Newport.
