Coyote

I saw this guy in our neighbor's field this morning. He wasn't there long and then trotted off on his way. This is rather a distance shot. We see them from time to time in the daytime, but only as singles. At night we often hear them howling but don't see them. I once tried to let the chickens run loose, in the days when we kept chickens. That lasted about a day. One was killed straight away, in broad daylight. So that was the end of that little idea!
