Road

Continued northwards on the M6, at some point passing DaveH and a van full of archaeologists going in the opposite direction. I didn't spot them, but then there were quite a few white vans heading south.

Having been on motorways for far too long, I cracked at the Carlisle junction and took the A7 via Galashiels. Haven't been that way for a while. There used to be only a very small understated sign at the border saying "Scotland", but now it looks like this. Apart from it being the road home there was something else really attractive about it.......wait a minute, that's it, not another vehicle in sight!
