Today was class assembly, a time for parents to sit on small chairs, get back, bum and knee ache, and to be accompanied by cheek ache from the smiling and hand ache from the clapping.
Today it was totally worth it as the Kid was one of the central characters in the play (not that I haven't enjoyed the past ones, but it don't half get tedious when your kid is narrator #25 and it is always the same 5 kids put in the key roles - especially as there are so many characters in the kid's class)

Anyhoo - she made a great witch, though I was rather taken with the Jack Sparrow inspired Pirate - that Johnny Depp needs to watch his back.

And as for Angelina Jolie, who I hear is being much lauded for her role as Maleficent - pah, you is nuffink girl, nuffink!!!!
