Sports Carnival

I attended the sports carnival at my grandson's school today. It was for the Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 children.

It was very windy but the children still had great fun. It was a well organised athletics tabloid.

These are my grandson's knees after the first activity of the tabloids and it wasn't an activity that needed knees on the ground.

It must be fun to be a 5 year old boy!! I love his enthusiasm for life.

They had a school disco tonight too - 5.30 to 7pm for the younger children and later for the older ones. Young K went at 5.30 and I looked after little L (9 months) in the warmth of home. When they arrived home after the disco I was asked ....do you think K was shy or out in the middle of the fun?. He is quite shy as a rule but I thought he'd be up dancing. Apparently on the first song he was up on the stage dancing with the microphone and the DJ. ... I'm amazed ... he is only 5. What is in store for us!!!
