Heart of Glass

This photo shows part of a huge glass building in the heart of Christchurch city. It was built recently, and is quite spectacular, especially in the sunshine.

We went to Christchurch to look at cameras for me. I found a nice Nikon D750, and a nice lens to go with it, but we don't have the budget for buying anything like that at the moment. It was interesting to see what's out there, though, and Timaru no longer has a dedicated camera shop (which is ridiculous!).

The traffic today was awful; it took us ages to get to Christchurch, thanks to a lot of slow drivers, and people not using the passing lanes efficiently. Then we left the city right in the middle of 5 o'clock traffic, and it was a nightmare!

Thanks to Daylight Saving, it's much later than it really is - if that makes sense! So, I'm off to bed now, and will catch up on journals tomorrow.
