Alarm set for 1-30am, aiming to get out of the door by 2am......
Eventually fall out of bed at 3am............
Arrived at Lee On Solent, 3-25am.
Lens changed, lens and camera mounted on tripod, 3-35am.
Distractions going on around me, the local swimming club were taking a dip, yes, at 3-30am, they'd lit a fire on the beach to warm themselves once they'd finished swimming, two police cars had arrived to investigate........
The setting I usually use to shoot the moon, total waste of time, "No Light"....obviously.
Started off with 5secs at ISO 1000.
This image was  taken at the time of total eclipse, 03-47, September 28th 2015.
Final setting, ISO 3200, f5.6, shutter 2secs.
Hopefully I'll be better prepared when the next Lunar Eclipse comes around in 2033, if I'm still around to see it.
