busy bees...

...getting serious in the garden's blooming crop of Italian lavender (love the ears with their fine purple veins) and perhaps a bumper harvest in a local hive of Miele di lavanda.


Hopefully heading home to a local hive and not one of the lads that takes up residence in the house wall each year despite all the bee man's  best efforts. The only solution is apparently to rip off the cladding, relocate the queen bee and unload the comb and honey....eeeeek.
