Hoppy
Today I pottered about, doing minor odd jobs. Hoppy, one of the very recognisable members of the Reeves Muntjac herd, that visit out garden, was eating apples that had fallen from our trees. Hoppy is easy to recognise, because of his injured left foreleg, when he first visited us this was a new injury, he had extreme trouble walking about and we did not think he would survive. We suspect that he caught his foot in a trap or snare and either dislocated or broke his ankle in escaping from it. We are glad to say that although the injury is permanent and can easily be seen on this picture, he is living a fairly normal, contented life.
