Day 2 with the dolphins

Just another amazing day today.  We have virtually spent all day watching the dolphins in the bay.  Late in the afternoon we walked down to the waters edge and joined many of the tourists who were watching the dolphins fishing for their dinner.  They were of course joined by the pelicans.  We can't quite work out whose stalking who, but it is wonderful to watch.

I needed to leave the beach for five minutes and had walked up the steps to the grass verge.  I turned around to see the dolphins making a beeline for CCN - of course I had to stay and try and capture the moment.  CCN was quite unaware I was able to photograph her moment.  For nearly 10 minutes they were trawling all around her.  I know it was a very special magical moment for her and I'm so thrilled I can share a small part of the event with my blip buddies.

As the sun was setting I turned around to see the full moon had risen and I've added an extra which I hope anyone calling by will enjoy.  I've also added an extra for all the dog loving blippers.

I have had to Back Blip my image because try as I may last night I could not get the internet connection to work for me.

Post Script
I have discovered that the beautiful gentle dolphin I blipped yesterday is called "Puck" and is a great grandmother.  Just amazing how the rangers can tell from 50 metres who is who in the Monkey Mia dolphin family.  I have given a copy of the image to the rangers who really loved it.
