Tarawera Times

Tulip Fest

Rotorua really does have wonderful public gardens and every year thousands of tulips are planted. Now for the second year they are celebrating them with a Tulip Fest. This year there are 40,000 tulips of all different colours, and they are planted in large beds, some in the centre of roundabouts, others in large formal areas in the Government Gardens.
If you have a chance and are near Rotorua, do visit over the next few weeks - so well worth it.

Lynn went back to Auckland this morning, now having a few quieter days then seven extras arrive at the end of the week for the traditional opening of the trout fishing season. Tarawera comes out of winter hibernation!

Took my PC into town yesterday as having a few issues and wanted it to have a check up, but all okay and picked it up this afternoon, and all going okay. But the hardware is getting a bit tired (it's 5 years since the last rebuild) and suggestion is that it needs another, although there are components that evidently can be recycled. I am completely dim when it comes to the hardware involved, I just need to trust someone to tell me what I need to do the job...and all I want is the end result to be fast!
