Crash Bang...

One of those days. Started badly by the discovery that a car had flattened a road side fence and a gate during the night.
The police knew about it and came out to see me . The  younger of the 2 looked about 12 !
The sun has decided to shine,so cutting barley again. The same field as yesterday,but 18% instead of 21,all thanks to the golden thing in the sky.
Baled up the endrig straw,then dug the wee square baler out the shed ready to make a start. Was busy greasing it before getting going when I had a moment of stupidity resulting in a mashed finger and lots of blood and swearing.
As luck would have it Mrs F arrived home just as I was leaving a trail of blood from the back door to the scullery sink. She drove me to A & E where after 4 Hrs came away with 10 stitches,a big bandage ,some painkillers and a course of antibiotics. And it is now starting to nip a bit !
