Down tools

Aye. Friday. The day of half day and even though M woke me with her 4am clumping as she got ready to fly to London, I collapsed back to sleep and got up at 7 to get Ewan up and off to school and then see Ellen off. I got to down tools in good time and headed to the garage for some sanding and oiling to get box number two finished. It has no lid. I'm not sure about that decision. On the one hand it's to sit next to the fire full of wood and a wee tray of kindling and matches etc so a lid would get in the way and people would put things on top of it, becoming irksome. I can always change my mind about that and put a lid on it.
