Vandalised - 1888 and 2015

The West Yorkshire Pauper Lunatic Asylum, opened in 1888, is just half a mile from my home and its magnificent clock tower is our living room clock, plainly seen from our window. Later known as High Royds Hospital, it closed in 2003. Much of it is now flats. However, small parts have not been renovated and have now been vandalised. The picture is of such a part today.
Almost 3,000 former inmates are buried close by.
Olympus XA. Agfa APX400S film, several years past its expiry date, developed in RO9, also long expired. Seemed appropriate.
I posted a picture of the clock tower, viewed from our window, on my 'grumpytyke' blog in January 2013 as a prompt for a haiku:

madness frozen out
bones interred together .... warmed
peace .... buds in waiting
