Today it just has to be my first report of the season from Boro . . . a grand 3-0 victory over local rivals Leeds . . . so so so pleasing.
The crowd were also taking part in the SOS campaign - Save Our Steel - as the local steelworks is under threat of closure yet again.
A sign of the times here . . . an official photographer is filing his match report at the end of the game. Two jobs in one. At least he would have plenty to say.
