Dogged Devotion

This morning I went into the livingroom to tell the Bandits their breakfast was ready, and found them either side of Rocky, who was in his favourite watching position on the back of the armchair. They both had their arms slung over him, and he was being very long-suffering in enduring their attentions! 

At various points in the morning, Ida just ran over to him and gave him a hug and a kiss on top of his head and said "Oh, I just love you so much Rocky".  To which he replied by rolling over, and offering up his tummy for a bit of scratching!

After baths and a bit of playing outside, we all headed off to Active Kids at Stanley, a few miles along the road, where Pops (G) and I had a wonderful time with them, playing Crazy Golf and Hide and Seek in the climbing fort. 

They got to spend their pocket money and both chose some Lego, and then it was time for home.  Always melts my heart when Arlo starts crying, and says he wants to stay for another day.  

And - Monday again tomorrow, as we sail into October.
