Hiding In Plain Sight

I took the car to the garage this morning.
They couldn't find the nail in the tyre.
Hopefully it was just a head that has now gone and not the whole nail - the remains which is still in there waiting to cause a flat at the most inopportune moment.

I cut most of the hedge today and when I went to get the brush from the garage I found this spider on the wall.
He looked like he had been splatted with a newspaper at first (ala Garfield),
It wasn't until I got the camera and macro lens that I could actually see he was just hanging there (not having my glasses on didn't help).

After I had been to the dump with the hedge cuttings I went in to watch the Grand Prix while SWMBO and Bags headed off to a 'baby shower' (another imported  American event).
So I had a nice relaxing afternoon.

Tomorrow is back to normality .......
