The Pelican Picnic and the Rabbit Hole

Went exploring through another National Park today ....which brought us out onto another part of the river....it seems to be a popular spot for fishing.....and the most magnificent views down the river to the mountains.....which.... I will be going back at some time to capture.

I saw these Pelicans on the other side of the river...we drove around there as quickly as possible and the little buggers had gone back to the side we were before. However I found a lovely little rocky point from which I got quite a show of not only these three but some little black and white cormorants and of course the ever present Gulls.

Yes! well I think I've found their hang out place now so I guess you will all be seeing some more pelican pics........I love them....I can sit and watch them for hours.

I am finding that my travels to find a Blip for the day and then coming back downloading the truckload of images from my camera, then deciding etc etc is like a BIG FAT RABBIT HOLE.........I can get lost for hours on end...needless to say not much work is getting done.

On the bright side...being one that suffers a bit from depression and for the last few months been feeling a bit fragile... being by the water and Blipping everyday has kept everything in check...for that I am very grateful. In fact I could be like Alice and loose myself down that Rabbit Hole for good.
