Intrepid snail

Sorry, we cant carry on the ID of yesterday's Orchid. This mornings weather is dire and they were covered in water droplets. As soon as you shook them off, more rain drops. Even the skylarks gave up this morning. Has anyone seen a summer yet in the UK? Coming home with a thoroughly sodden cocker and looking over another garden wall I noticed this snail making heavey weather of the Lupin.
