Pearls in an Oyster

No........ ripening seeds in the seed pod I blipped the other day. Akebia trifoliata, the Chocolate Vine. The dark red flowers are supposed to smell of chocolate, with a vivid imagination they do....... Now the seed pods are splitting to reveal white flesh covered, black seeds. A little like a passion fruit the scarce flesh is sweet [no real taste of chocolate] but the black large seeds are annoying. At least I can tell people I've tried it!
