Kingfisher at Marahau

Blipmate and I went out this morning seeing we didn't get out on our usual Saturday jaunt. Daylight saving started today and it was a beautiful sunny day.
The first thing we saw as we started the Abel Tasman track was this kingfisher and the next thing was a banded rail in the distance. We spent most of our time watching 3 of them - but very far away so that is the extra.
