Grey Heron

A very large Grey Heron is in the Wadi and as you can see is in magnificent condition. He's one of the biggest birds I've seen and is obviously a fine fisherman(or Fisherwoman of course) I need to look up if there are an differences between male and female Grey Herons! There is plenty of water also in the Wadi and I've seen big fish leaping near this Herons sentry post(a rock in the water) and he seems oblivious to them, I think he doesn't have to try too hard with that spear of a beak to catch his breakfast. I love his spotted white neck and his piercing stare-no, he's not afraid of me either!
