Roll Out The Barrel...

Today I spent the afternoon enjoying Oktoberfest in Millheim. This is a small, sweet, quaint annual affair that raises money for the Millheim Fire Company. I had never been before but was excited to check it out. Upon arrival I scoped out the activities and chose my Elk Creek Fest Bier (brewed right here in downtown Millheim), ordered up a Bratwurst with Bavarian Sauerkraut and settled down to enjoy my little feast while listening to the German polkas and traditional folk tunes being offered up by the Little German Band of State College, PA.
An all-around fun time on a warm September afternoon...delicious food, great beer, a little people watching and some unexpected but immensely appreciated color! I adore bright colors and this lovely yellow table topped with a glorious early Fall bouquet just called to me. How could I resist?
