Lex Luthor

So I missed a week and was a tad late on this one, but I'll recap I promise.

Last week was my first full week of work, finally got stuff to do and felt like I was contributing, the team is great and I am really glad to be where I am right now, and the thing I'm most happy about is that all the work really did pay off, but no time to rest now. The guys showed a bunch of really delicious places to eat around Tribeca that I recommend, El Vez for mexican and GRK for greek if you are interested.

Last weekend Shann and her family had their annual bar crawl, it was an awesome time out after I had been at my nephew's christening party all day. The party was a really good time too, got to catch up with some of my brother's friends I hadn't seen in awhile, turns out his best man is looking to open a brew-pub, his beers are delicious and I wish him the best of luck heaven knows I'll be there with all my friends for sure (The guy makes beer with thin mints and cinnamon toast crunch, you can't beat that).

This week Shann and I watched the start of pre season hockey over some beers, so stoked for the season to start I am expecting big things from my boys in Winnipeg. My parents were gone all week on vacation in DC so I watched the house and the dog and I'll be honest being home alone even at this age makes me uneasy. Anyway, taking care of the little furry one I like to call Lex Luthor (real name Lexi) cause she's a villain was definitely a handful but she's too cute so I forgive her.

As for the picture, this is my subway stop that I take everyday, I love the train, in fact its my favorite form of transportation and would take it everywhere if I could, would love to take one of those luxury cross country train trips one day.

Fun Fact: I have been on an absolute Brand New binge lately, good and bad because I love them but some of the newer stuff gets all kinds of bad feelings stirred up inside me, lucky for you guys I picked a more tame choice.
