Day 980 - Bee
A leisurely morning followed by a trip to Perth.
I have had a loan of my dad's macro flash kit for ages but I have never been able to use it with my macro lens because the weight of the kit means the lens won't focus. So, I have a loan of my dad's 150mm macro lens so I can try the flash kit with it. The difference is that my dad's lens focuses internally whereas my lens doesn't. So, this bee was taken with the 150 and the flash kit - makes a huge difference!
We then went down to Willowgate fisheries on the Dundee Road for a dog walk and a macro outing! See extras for a few more from today. I should have kept the flash kit on!
We spotted some white wasps and at first I thought it was an albino wasp bt there were loads... Turns out the white stuff was the fluff from the dying thistle type flowers!!! Thought we had stumbled on some rare wasps!!!
