Ruthter, Rooster

Just learned a gardening friend is moving pretty far away; she is wondering if someone might be interested in adopting her three hens. My rooster puppet likes the idea, but so what, is he going to muck out the coop? I once had a hen named Ruth. When she was just a chick, I wondered what I'd do if she turned out to be a rooster - illegal to keep roosters in Portland. Abby said, "You'd call her Ruthter." She can be so funny.
