There was Light!

I've been out in the woods today taking 900+ blips of young orienteers competing in the Junior Inter-Regional Championships south of Rugeley in the West Midlands.  This annual event is always good fun with the youngsters meeting up with friends from around the country and donning their squad colours war paint before the start.

I took photos at various points in the wood but this one was taken at a common control for all courses.  The sunlight was a fickle thing but it came out just right for this young man from the South East Squad who needed it to check his route to his next control.

Tomorrow is Relay Day!
