Volks Electric Railway

We went into town to test drive a couple of second hand cars this morning. Alan's office has moved to Burgess Hill, so he needs something to commute. Anyway we've put a deposit on a Mercedes A Class and we pick it up next Friday.

As the weather was so nice, we picked up some quiche and a cake and had a picnic on the seafront. We then strolled to the marina, had a walk round and caught the bus home.

On our way to the marina we were passed by the little electric train which runs from near the pier, along to the marina. Volks is the oldest operating electric railway in the world dating back to 1883.

It's been a nice day, but I'm tired now, Zzzzzz.
