Private eye

There is a bit of Walter Mitty in me -- here, I am a private detective watching for my target to enter a vehicle behind my souped-up hot rod (VW Golf).
I seem to slumber in the driver's seat but I am fully aware of all around me.
   Reality however  states I await Olive my wife.
        Life is so unfair!
