West End Brutality

This is the back of the Boyd Orr Building, Glasgow University. It's a concrete brutalist building built in 1972.  Quite at odds with the beautiful old University buildings across the road which i always think of as The Unseen University in Terry Prachett books!

Elise had a party in the West End, movies and games - a good 3 hours! Amber got all dressed as her favourite anime character and went to Comic Con. So we found ourselves sans les enfants at hungry time!

Tribeca was calling us, as was a big brunch of bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast and hash browns, freshly squeezed OJ for her and a flat white for him. It was fab, and I forgot that jelly beans come with the bill!
We had panned on getting to Kelvingrove Museum in time to hear the daily organ recital at 1pm but food got in the way, another time I hope.

A generally fun, chilled out day, which will be topped off with a movie and cocktails - at home!
