After the flood

Went in to town today and bought a happily coloured mop :-)

The frogmen are in the old harbour checking that there are no bodies in the 50 odd cars swept out to sea. Nobody has been reported missing so this is just a nicety. I don't envy them but it makes rubber-necking a more sanitised pastime.

A rescued quad-bike with washed-away car-park entrance behind plus the culvert that couldn't cope at left.
Our temporary new lake, twice. More rain is falling so there is every chance that this will overspill and cause more damage.
Small snails escaping the latest rain up our bedroom wall.
