A moment in time

Well the power station chimneys came down today. After almost 50 years and the reputation of being the dirtiest power station in Europe it is no more. Only the turbine hall left which, as it is mostly steel, will come down in bits.
We were down on the beach watching with friends then went back the their home for champagne and nibbles to acknowledge an historic moment ( any excuse!) it was a good day for it .....overcast but still and warm. Loads of small boats on the Forth and microlites in the skies.
