Cockermouth duck race!

2000 plastic ducks were launched into the River Cocker today! ( see 'extra' photo )

All the ducks were numbered, and the winner won £300! ( I wonder if my duck, number 235, won? )

In the blip, the ducks you can see have already passed the finish line. They missed being collected in a big net! People were wading in the river further downstream and giving the ducks back to The Rotary Club for next year's race.
