Golden morning on Roundway Hill

Considering our late night and over indulgence at The Vaults & The Southgate last night, we were up and out surprisingly early,  There was quite a mist first thing but it had mostly burnt off soon after we reached the hill.

The tree on far left is much photographed - here and here - by me and many local photographers. If a storm ever took it down, the town would be bereft!

We spent much of the rest of the morning at City Plumbers, designing our posh new bathroom and this afternoon we have a birthday tea to go to.

This evening, we are watching the England V Wales Rugby with Mark and his (very) Welsh sons!
