Messing about on the river

evening all.

The annual trip to "THE BOATS" at Warkworth is always a bit of an epic adventure.

Who would have thought that two teenagers and two neurotic adults, in a rowboat on a small river with a current that has potential to take you out to sea, with ill fitting oars and a mildly leaking vessel could have such fun.....

I do think attempting to waterski off the back of the boat was probably a mistake as the rowers just didn't seem to get enough speed up, then got grumpy when we threatened them with the whip...
