Friday: Time

There is always one day that really feels like the beginning of autumn and today was that day.  Chilly, rainy and the leaves visibly falling off the trees.  It made quite a nice change after the sweltering heat of this summer.

I had lunch with a few colleagues today including my Dutch colleague,  Marc.  His brother has asked him to take some photos of Zagreb for a project and Marc asked me to look them over and select the ten best.  I was quite flattered but also very impressed.  He told me he was trying to got for a Hopper-effect and he really succeeded.  They were really inspirational and have given me pause for thought - which I told him.  Hopper is also my favourite artist.

We met Morana tonight to catch up.  This old watch shop was next to the bar. I am always surprised the places like this can still function but I guess we still have a need for them.

Morana still appears to be in the flat somewhere - it is now Saturday morning.
