Light and Lichen

Between the heavy showers there were lovely, bright, sunny spells so I decided to see how the blackberries were doing.  Managed to pick a decent bag full, enough for a crumble if I augment them with a bit of apple!

Drying off Ollie when we got home, I noticed his left front leg was very swollen and sore, although he hadn't seemed to be limping on the walk.  Off to the vet where it was diagnosed as cellulitis, so an antibiotic jag and a course of tablets for 5 days.  Poor boy, he's being very stoic about it and is enjoying all the fuss and extra cuddles!

Ceilidh dancing in the school hall this evening - we're really into the winter schedule now, choir and dancing rather than gardening.
