Ben and Breagha

We had Ben sleeping over with us last night. There was a moment during the night when I came too and this little arm came round my neck and a little voice said 'just cuddling in Nana'. Ben had sneaked into our bed....

We took a short trip to Balvaird Castle on the way to Falkland, and we all ran about the grounds and had fun. Particularly these two. Ben loves Breagha and is always giving her cuddles. It's so good for kids to be around dogs. Breagha is so good with Ben she tolerates the rougher but well meaning cuddles that she gets from Ben, although he isn't as bad as when he was a toddler when he used to stick his fingers up her nose!!

We met an American girl and her parents who were over here doing a tour of the Outlander Castles. I've heard of this series, set in Scotland, but it's a shame we haven't been able to see it here! The girl was all over Breagha giving her much attention and taking pictures of her. Breagha loved it!

Finished off with a trip to Campbell's for scone and coffee.

Then later it was meeting at the Royal George Hotel for an old fashioned traditional High Tea to celebrate Mum's 86th birthday! It was a great feast and the whole family was there, including Graham and Morag who were off to Cuba the next day. Thanks mum for treating us all even although it was your birthday!!
