The show must go on

Tonight some girlfriends and I went Tolethorpe outdoor theatre to watch the twelfth night. Performed blithe Stamford Shakespeare Society. Its my third year there. As always they were superb. Very funny performances all round. Although the audience is in a covered seating area, the stage us outdoors in the woods. A little way into the second half, the heavens opened. It rained and rained and rained. The actors were marvelous though, you'd never have known.
Not nearly as disconcerting as a couple of years ago when a rat ran on stage and an audience member had to throw it off!
