Crocosmia.

..I saw these with the sun shining through them the other day when we went delivering veg. I thought, "that would make a good blip".

So today I tried to capture them. Well it's been windy, and showery all day, every time I went out the heavens opened. I collected eggs from the far end of the chicken run. It rained. I made a new gateway into the far end of the chicken run. It rained. I went to the shed to get something from the freezer. It rained. I gave up for the day and decided to listen to some new CD's that came today.

Later, I went out to take this shot. It rained.
Not quite the image I had seen before, they're now a bit windswept.

Of out to deliver eggs now. No doubt it will rain!!..
