I survived my first week at the new job and the second day of cycling in (Ipswich) rush hour traffic.

We got home to a freshly baked bread & C is now putting together all the elements to create prego rolls with butchers' steak from the Rose House Butchery.

While waiting I'm enjoying a Weissbier in my limited edition beermug, which cost the same a a box of wine (or 3 boxes if bought in Calais).

Light bulp moment of the week: I now know why customer services are so bad in this country: people aren't trained properly; they are just pointed vaguely in a direction and left.
