It was lovely to start the weekend strolling up the Morteratsch valley towards the base of the glacier, on a perfect evening and with the first of the larches turning golden yellow. Piper, the dog, was in her element and M was enjoying the change of scene. I was happy being with my two best companions in an amazing place we call "home".
