Fresh air and wooly scarves

I went to work today. It lasted about two hours before my boss sent me home because I was pretty ill. But she did my appraisal before I went home. I was really nervous I think because my past experiences of appraisals have been something of a chance to lay into people rather than help them along. But that was another company and another time. I love my current job and I love my boss. I trust that she is open and she would tell me how I'm doing in real time rather than wait for an appraisal. We discussed where I want to be and gave me targets for getting trained on certain things. I am looking forward to getting stuck into it!

Though I am still a bit nervous around work I love the team I am in. Everyone is so different and it works!

So I came home and slept. I think the deepest sleep I have had in a very very long time. I needed it! I still feel tired so after a bit of food, my mess and a shower I think I will go back to bed ready for work tomorrow but I think I am past the worst of it now. Need to catch up at work so long week next week I think! Lots to do!
