2015 Thursday -- from Our Daughter's Day

Our daughter, who is currently living with us, came downstairs to share with us this note she wrote to one of the little boys at the school where she teaches. His family is moving to the San Francisco Bay area.

This little boy, Gage, has never been a student in the class that Deed works with, but he met her on the playground and everyday looks for her to get a hug and a kind word from her. Often they take "selfies" together with several other kids. The photos are fun to see.

Our daughter Deidre (pronounced dee-dra) works with special ed children, but on the playground she gets to mix and mingle with all students.

It's obvious she is going to miss this boy, but also obvious she is excited for his future.

I wish my collage could capture the entire note she wrote him; I was blessed by her words to him; she printed several photos to include in the card she will give him tomorrow on his last day of school.
