I was thinking snail eggs. Now I'm thinking slime mould, but if so, which one? Any suggestions gratefully received.

Another day, another infected bite, this one presenting the typical rash of Lyme's  disease following a tick bite. So, another trip to the GP and thence to the chemist for a different antibiotic. I'm so glad that I was born in the antibiotic era!
